the caruso family: July Happenings...

July comes to an end...and with a screeching halt :)--time for SCHOOL!!!

I can't believe Michael is in 2nd grade and Ryan started Kindergarten!! So hard to fathom that the baby days are over. Well, I guess it's been that way for a long time, and I've been trying to convince myself otherwise ;) They both have loved their first week of school, in fact after school the first day, I asked Ryan how it went and he yelled, "IT was INCREDIBLE!" Oh, Ryan...

Once we got home from our fabulous weeks at the beach, Mike's brother asked Michael what he would want to do for his birthday since they had been out of town. Without having to think (literally) he said he wanted to go to a DBacks game with Uncle Jim & Aunt Marla. And so it was...

...but little did he know that when they got to the game, the security guard would invite him to be his "assistant" that night ON the field between innings!! What a story he had to tell when he came home that night! He had SO MUCH FUN!!!

And Now for July...

The next two weeks were spent in our favorite place on earth! THE BEACH....our (very kind & gracious) friends invited us to stay with them in Coronado. couldn't pass that up!@#$%

I love this shot of my three boys...I love that they're all together, and I LOVE the flippers. Ryan really wishing walking in & using flippers was as easy as it looks! lol

lots of hours spend on the boogie boards. this year they were both very independent in the ocean...

and they got to spend days on the beach playing with their sweet friends Davis, Parker and Grayson. And Mike & I got to hang with some of our favorite people, too...SO MUCH FUN!!!!

I love this shot. These two are such sweet buddies! They played for HOURS the one day on the beach that we had with the Johnsons. They L-O-V-E each other! And that blob that you may have thought was seaweed is in fact a jelly fish. They were EVERYWHERE! ew.

And then it was Father's Day....and the award for best day EVER...drum roll please....THIS Daddy! :) Michael wanted to make him a card and glue it to this foil pan. And there you have it!

That morning we celebrated by taking our Daddy and Grandpa to Le Grande Orange for breakfast before church.

Just days after school got out, we got to celebrate our biggest boy's birthday. I can't believe he's EIGHT!! I love this pic of Daddy praying for him. :)

His sweet friend, Gabriel, who he's "known" since he was born, came to his party...this was fun for him because all his boy cousins were out of town! No grudges were held ;)

Michael doesn't like cake, so the dessert he chose was ice cream sandwiches. And his "theme" was lego, so we had lego ice cream sandwiches, of course!

It's June....Let the fun days of summer begin....w/cousins, Annabelle & Brielle. The slip & slide...and just posing because they're cute!

This sweet boy graduating from Grace Adventures Preschool. The ceremony was held on the grounds of our family farm! To say that he was happy is an understatement. A big day for this boy!
