One really fun thing about the farm is all the animals the kids get to see. It's not uncommon to see rabbits racing across the grass, ground squirrels...and then other not-so- fun-things like scorpions & gophers that kill our plants. Lots of fun experiences to be had for the kids. So this summer we've discovered new friends over there, the owls! It's crazy but we drive through in the evening & hear a noise in the trees & can tell from the sound that it's an owl. Birds are usually dive-bombing the owl because they're looking to find eggs in nests to eat. So the owls just act super annoyed by the attack, and just sit there & take it all. So this is one that we've seen; Mike thinks there are four out there...not sure how one knows when they all look the same to me! ;) Can you see it? Kinda freaky!!!
