Mother's Day

What a fun day we had! Michael came in to our room that morning, wished me a Happy Mother's Day & handed me a hand-ful of cards he had made for me! It was so precious. One said, "I love you so much because you are fun." This made my day because I don't feel especially "fun" very often. :) (Thankfully, he doesn't see me that way.) Then we headed to the Hillside Spot for some delicious breakfast before church. After church, we picked up lunch, went to my Mom's and celebrated with her and my side of the family. I'm so thankful for my mom! Now that I'm a Mom, I see all that she must have had on her plate, raising the four of us by herself. I can't even imagine!! And, finally...we headed to the farm for a sweet surprise from my sweet nieces, Kaitlyn & Amy. They made lunch for us with the kids the previous day including a menu Michael read to us before we were served. It was SO sweet & thoughtful for the girls to organize this & include all the little kids. (We wondered if they were going to offer their services for Father's Day...haha!) I am SO thankful that the Lord would choose to bless me with the two, sweet boys that I have!! They bring so much joy to my life and nothing gives me more fulfillment in my life (besides Jesus, first and foremost!) than caring for my home, my husband and my boys! Little did I know almost 7 years ago, when I became a Mommy for the first time, how my world would be changed forever. Thank you, Lord, for giving me that specific desire of my heart! You are so kind!! (photos in backwards order :) still learning...
